There is no option to display Read More link there.
To achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of the Jevelin theme.

You can remove it from the Widgets screen in your website admin area.

You can remove it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

I remember i have done that in the past. – from the appearance/styling/dropdown menu/
Currently, there is no theme option to change menu color of light desktop header but I have created the feature request for it so that it will be implemented in the future version of the theme.

In the meantime, we recommend you to downgrade WordPress to 5.4 version to resolve the issue.
No, you don’t need to start everything fresh.
Just install the theme as normal.
