Nothing is changed in the theme and the theme editor is a functionality provided by WordPress.
You can use Google site tags on your website as described on the below pages.

You can remove the icons from the mobile menu by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code
