According to the screenshots that you have shared, the width of the text in the slider is getting changed according to the browser width.
Am I right?
If it is so then this is expected behavior to make it responsive.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

You have to create a new page and set it as the static home page as described in my above reply then you can make changes in its content.
I have activated the plugin in the link (colorlib plugin) however nothing changed, what else needs to be done?
That plugin won’t work as it is because it is developed for Portfolio Category page and you have to make changes in the plugin code to make it work for Category page.
I was asking where to set up the background image? As I canāt do that in the category page.
I am not sure which background image on category page you are referring to so could you please describe it a bit more by sharing its screenshot?

-how do you edit content on your home page, this can not be edited via all pages. The home page is not listed.
This is because it seems you have configured your site to display latest posts on its homepage so please set static page as its homepage in the site Reading Settings as shown in the attached screenshot so that you can change it.

You can add it in the page content after setting static homepage as described above.

It is an Internal Server error which I see in your shared screenshot and its error code is 500.

To achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of Jevelin theme.

Hi! Please can you help me determine why my site does not reflect the Title and Tagline (from the Site Identity)?
Currently, the theme does not display it but it will be implemented in the future version of the theme.
Instead I see only āJavelinā in the top left hand corner.
It is a logo that you can change it from the theme header settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

The code to display it is in the theme files but we don’t recommend you to edit it.
