I will try the regenerate thumbnails and get back to you if it doesn’t fix the problem. I’m working a few different sites right now so it’s taking me a bit of time to troubleshoot. Thank you
I grabbed a photo to show what I want on my page. Here is your demo site. All of the blog entries are the exact same height and all photos are the exact same size! I can’t get mine to do this
Hi! And thank you!
I installed the plugin and the code.
The code works great and changes my icon just as I hoped.
There is an issue with the plugin though. It looks like it replaced several field titles with “back to portfolio.” Since some projects might use the video URL option and more, they need to be clearly marked or there will be confusion about which field is which.
I included a screenshot so you can see the dashboard when the plugin is activated
Worked great! Thanks 🙂
Awesome!! I’ll go add. Many thanks
Of course and thank you! I provided a link below. I am hoping to disable the lightbox function on the portfolio slider so that the pop up is disabled on all of my projects.
Ah! Thanks. I didn’t notice a new version had been released recently. I’ll update it and hopefully that will solve any issues 🙂
Solution for this topic
Nevermind! Please disregard the question above. I think I found a fix
if you want to see it, it’s here:

If I can make a suggestion, an overlay similar to this would be helpful if included in updates. With large, specific types of portfolios there is a need to title the images without using the hover and the title over the image allows for a clean grid effect the other options don’t allow
If you happen to see a problem with the fix I created, please holler
Thanks for the help
Can you tell me how to hide the project description in the overlay? Using Overlay 3?
Also, is there also a way to have the title always visible, not just on hover? Again, using overlay 3?
(I’m trying to find a creative fix here. I need a title on my portfolio images and the whole image to be clickable linking to the project page)
Thanks
I merely wanted the code to link the to the project (“title”) The code you provided linked to the category instead. I tried customizing it by replacing “category” with “title” but it didn’t work
Can you at least give me a clue? Can it be done with simple code placed in the theme setting?
Thanks for getting back to me!
I tried the code provided and it did make the entire overlay clickable but it linked over to the category rather than to the individual project’s page.
Can we make it link to the individual portfolio project instead?
Of course! Thank you. The site address is below in the private field  🙂
Thank you. I was wondering what the “blog editor” option was.
Ok, so the blog page builder element is out of the question unfortunately as I need pagination. There are just too many entries to have them all on one page, especially for anyone viewing on mobile
Can you suggest a way to get my blog 5 across? The blog template only allows for 3 across which makes my photos and entries far too large.
I would take any suggestion. Perhaps theres a fix using Yellow Pencil? That way I can tailor the blog pages, having some 3 across and some 5.
Here’s the development site
I found a potential solution for the homepage by searching the web but I’m not sure where/how these adjustments can be made. The suggested fix was to add a 1px-3px buffer to the slider which would make for a perfect fit and would remove the side scroll bar. Sound possible?
You can see the desired effect I’m trying to achieve by checking out my current website homepage here:
https://www.soloway-designs.com
If that can’t be achieved, plan b is to fix the menu so the opaque sticky menu isn’t activated and doesn’t obscure the slides. We would rather have the fit and no scroll but this could be a decent workaround
I haven’t done much of anything with the blog page yet but the link is below. Again, I’d love to use the parallax footer for this page but don’t like the effect on those pages not using a footer.

Many thanks!
??????
Your team is great! I’m really looking forward to building with this theme
Thanks again! I’ll be back when I stumble over my next hurdle
Found the problem! I was not selecting multiple images (using “shift”) to add all photos at once. I was adding 1 image then going back to repeat the process to add another.
If I can make a suggestion or get advice…
This will pose problems in the future since we will have hundreds of images on the site and a very large image library. If we have to add to a photo to a portfolio gallery after its been created, re-selecting all the photos just to add 1 new photo will cause problems. Is there current a way to add a single image to the gallery without overriding all the images currently saved to the gallery?
Thanks
PS…..The Yellow Pencil function is BRILLIANT! I was able to do some design changes (square off buttons and links) in seconds. I have to learn more about it but so far it’s great
