I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Gillion theme as displayed in the attached screenshot.
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Gillion theme and page builder plugin.
This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins except Unyson plugin and WpBakery page builder plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.

Hello, I would like to upload custom icons but there does not seem to be a way to do that.
I have little to no programming skills so if you could please tell me how to do it in the simplest form.
Which icons and where exactly do you want to display them?
Also, i previously added a background to the header of the education theme then decided not to use it so i deleted it but for some reason it is still there. I have can i get rid of the background for header?

Every browser caches CSS, JS and media files to load the site faster so you have to check your browser configuration to not cache them or empty the cache automatically.
