In the following latest version of theme we have removed this Mega menu column hide option, because it is hard to fix as it comes from Unyson plugin and causes multiple issues.

Would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will be able see it.”?

It is displayed in the footer of the site using WordPress wp_footer hook.
Please note you have to only add javascript code there and not any script tags.

I think that I might have found the problem – old version of WP Bakery plugin. Can that cause a conflict in header?
Yes it can conflict.

I visited your shared site but didn’t see the duplicate posts on scrolling the bottom of your home page that loads more posts.

I changed it to white in the Navigation Color option of theme styling as shown in the attached screenshot and it displaying fine now.
Could you please confirm it?
The menu has items from the previous theme, and the blog and gallery have retained some images from the previous theme.
This is because this new Demo installation method retains existing data and doesn’t overwrite it.
If you don’t want your site existing data then you can delete it using following plugin and then import the demo data using  new Demo installation method.

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
It seems on your shared site in the forum topic page the Header Layout gets changed from Header 4 to Header 1.
I could confirm the issue on my test site therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.

i installed Envato WordPress Toolkit plugin although all it really seems to tell me is my theme needs an update; 1.4.2 to 1.5. but there’s no way to update it in place; it seems i need to manually download the newest version to update it anyway; is this all the plugin does? is there no way to simply update the theme? i thought all my other themes just updated from the site without me having to manually do anything outside of click update.
The gillion theme is distributed from envato marketplace and not from WordPress.org repository so it doesn’t update automatically like other themes distributed from WordPress.org repository and you have to update it as described in the following pages.

am i correct to understand gillion themes will show up as needing an update in my admin panel and i can simply update there?

am i correct in understanding that i do not have a direct wpbakery page builder license, but a gillion update will end up patching that plugin up to current once a gillion theme update is released? (ie. no need to manually do any delete as you advised)
