It seems the CSS conflict issue on your website that you can resolve by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

It seems you are using an older version of the theme on your website so please update it to the below latest version as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/
Also, please update the WPBakery page builder plugin from the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Install Plugins

You can change the header from the theme header settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

I could confirm the issue on your shared website but I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using the latest version of the Gillion theme.
It seems your website-specific issue.
Would you mind if I log in to your site and do quick troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporarily create an admin user account and share the account login details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able to see it)”?

I would like to remove the ‘search here’ tab and how can I manually remove the twitter icon?
You can remove them from the header builder as shown in the attached screenshots.
Second question, how can i add another page under ‘home-nieuw’.
You have to just create a sub-menu as described on the below pages.
