Can I ask, do you think this error could be related to my site having been recently wiped by someone / something? It seems too coincidental to be experiencing these kinds of issues in isolation.
Yes this can be the issue of your site. To confirm it you can just create development private site and test the theme on it.
As I’m already having to rebuild my site from scratch I wonder if I’d be best deleting wordpress and reinstalling then connecting my domain to make sure any untoward activity doesn’t impact my site again?
Yes you can do that. Also change all of your site admin credentials.

Could you please tell me when you exactly get that error?
This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins except Unyson plugin and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
One more question: I’ve seen some cool dynamic text on another theme: http://themes.pixelwars.org/empathy/demo/
Is it possible to do that on Jevelin. If yes, How?
Yes you can achieve it using Unyson page builder Heading Animation content element as shown in the attached screenshot.

Also the header on my mobile pages is not working well.

No I can’t check it that way.
Could you please tell me whether you have made any changes in the theme files?
Also I recommend you to take backup of your site so that If anything goes wrong then we can restore it.
Do you have any other development or test site where we can test it or could you please create it to troubleshoot it?

That Blog settings option is for Blog template.
It seems on your shared site home page you are displaying blog posts by selecting option ” Your latest posts” in the theme Reading Settings so you can set How many posts to display on that page from the same reading settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

If i update the theme, will i have to create all my customizations again? Will my customizations stay same?
Your customizations will remain same if you have not made changes in the theme files.
If they stay same then can you explain how i am gonna update the theme.

@franklinrodriques No you have different problem which is also occurring with default WordPress themes as discussed in your below topic.
It is not theme related issue as it also occurs with other default theme so please either contact your web host or consider hiring WordPress expert to resolve it.
