Just download the exact size image that you want to display and rename it to any other name and set that image again in that widget.

-How can I add an ad or banner like the image I enclosed? I tried to go in the settings, add the photo and other, but it did not show up on my blog. (I am using the personal theme). Is there any plugin you advise to add also banner inside the post?
You can use the text widget in the sidebar widget area and add banner image in it as described in the below page.

-The personal theme comes with a “subscribe template” that I like in the widget. Is it connected to MailChimp or Optinmonster?
It is connected to the MailChimp.
-I do not use Woocommerce and I am not intended to use it the future as I don’t sell anything. Should I deactivate the plugin? I am asking as it’s recommended by gillion to let it be activated.
If you don’t want to sell anything on your site then you can deactivate the Woocommerce plugin.

I am trying to simply remove the text and breadcrumbs in the titlebar.
If you don’t want to remove the whole title bar but just want to remove the text and breadcrumbs in the title bar then you can do so by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

I don’t see the issue on your shared site.
Which browser are you using?
Please test it clearing your browser cache and using a different browser.
We need to just check whether this issue is occurring due to GIF image so please try temporarily using JPG or PNG as a background image instead of Gif image.

The theme generates different markup for desktop and mobile menus so please contact the polylang plugin support to know why this is happening.
Alternatively, you can display the same desktop menu items on mobile menu by using any of the below plugins.

We bought a Jevelin licence which we are using on one of our WordPress sites and we are wondering whether we can use the theme on another site; which is also own by the same owner.
Yes, you can use the theme on multiple sites depending on the license that you have purchased.
Also, if in the meantime we go ahead and install the theme on the new site (localhost only) would we then need to install again if we needed another licence?
You can use the theme on any number of localhost and development sites.

You can achieve it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.

Also, this can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins except Unyson plugin and WpBakery page builder plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
I am using Yellow Pencil editor plugin with Jevelin theme on my test site without any issue.
Maybe this is happening due to incorrect CSS code so please try using different CSS code for testing it.
