thank you – the images are all of the same height now, but the images are all different sizes. eg. Some of the 5-litre bottles appear gigantic while some are not. Can you please let me know urgently how to fix this problem? please have a look at the same Shop page. are there settings or code I could use to fix this? Thank you. The images are all set to be at least 660X660px as you advised. Cheers.
Hi. I’ve tried more solutions from wordpress.org forums today, including using this code below. But it is not working. My product images are still misaligned. It could be theme specific so I do need Shufflehound’s help to resolve this. I cannot launch the website with misaligned imaged. the link is citytechchemical.com/shop. Please have a look at my site and help me add a code to resolve this. Appreciate it.
.product_item a.product_item_link {
min-height: 90px;
}
.archive .product_item a.product_item_link img {
max-height: 150px;
}
here is how the code proposed in https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/make-all-shop-items-description-boxes-the-same-size
messed up the shop page. see screen shot.
the URL is below in the box
Hi. I tried the solutions in the links you provided. However they messed up my page. Can you kindly troubleshoot by going into my site and trying custom code to help me with my problem please? I think this will work a lot faster as we have exchanged a few mails on this. I cannot change the name of my products, so I’d really need some help with CSS to force the height to be the same. Hope you can help by putting in the CSS and see if it works. I do not know how to code. Thanks again.
While I can adjust the image size to be at least 660px by 660px, does this guarantee the images will be neatly aligned? Is there anything else you can adjust so that I can resolve this problem once and for all? What happens to images with longer product names? Won’t the images then be misaligned? Please let me know. Thanks.
Hi. to follow up, I will be sending you the uRL to the shop page where the problem is, so you can understand. I cannot change my product names. so what’s happening is an issue where the boxes are all uneven and really ugly. It needs to be easier to do this. Really need help on this. Thanks.
hi please go to the standard shop page per the demo content. the site is still under construction. Thanks.
Hi I have uploaded the theme update but the problem in product image gallery is still there. can you please visit my site to have a look? credentials in private field.Thanks.
The breadcrumbs currently are in the banner image and hardly legible.
Please let me know how to ensure breadcrumbs appear on EVERY page of the site, so it is a global setting. Thanks!
Hi. I created a new page called Online Shop just to test Quickster. I used the shortcode [quick_order] on the new page. You can log into my site to view. I was wondering — if I want to use Quickster, do I thus have to create a new Shop page like this one? Or can I use the one in the demo content?
Also for Quickster, I want to hide price until login. So I have activated the plugin Hide Price until Login (actually I do not want to show prices to customers at all even after they log in — I want them to simply log in to order — they are b2b customers and already know the prices, for repeat orders). However the price column is still showing prices so I am unsure if something is wrong. There should not be column to show prices. Thanks for your help. (please see screenshot).
Thank you for your help with the map. It works fine now!
I will start the breadcrumbs question in a new thread.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Thanks. May I know what is the SG Optimizer and why it was causing all the problems like the warning text?
Hi again — I just checked the Checkout and Cart pages. The top bar with info isn’t showing up like in the Home pages. Can you Kindly check? I am surprised the code you just sent me doesn’t work for these pages. Hope you can help me today. Thanks. Login credentials for support2 are the same.
Oh I see! I wasn’t aware. OK thanks for the tip. I will tweak and fix 🙂
Solution for this topic
yes I think I just did as I did a lot of trial and error; I have never used those settings before. I think it was due to margin settings.
Great thanks, that works now.
here is another screen shot to show you that I am unable to replace the dark banner image on Shop Standard with my test image. I was able to customer the page where after a user clicks on a product for more info, the banner shows up, albeit in a weird way (screen shot 2). Setting height for banner is large but it looks very small compared to the dark banner in the demo shop page.
Hope you can help as there seems to be a lot of issues with the theme. Even my top bar is incorrect despite global settings. I am seeing divider lines on the top bar in some pages; on some pages the top bar info is missing. and all this despite global settings being in place. I hope you can help urgently as I have sent quite a few mails on this and did the steps you asked me to eg clearing and disabling cache. Thanks.
