So my questions are: what is supposed to happen when I click on a category?

Can I manage that page?
No you have to develop custom code to change this page as it is dynamic page.
I’m having this problem due to the fact I’m working on staging?
May be or because you are using different permalink structure and not as i described in the above reply. Please see attached screenshot.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Jevelin theme.
First of all please make sure you are using latest demo import method as described in the following topic.

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins except Unyson plugin and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
Also could you please share me your site URL where it’s happening so that i can troubleshoot it?

Thanks for looking into this. I realize now what I should have done. I worked on the laptop, so I tried to change the height from what the UI shown as a laptop, not the one you just changed (UI shown as Desktop). That’s why it did not appear to respond to my change. Sorry for the confusion.

You can resolve it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

Have you troubleshooted for plugin conflict as i described above?
Btw. and even it sounds very basic – where can I see which version of the theme I use?

And further more I tried the recommended plugin ‘KingComposer’ whereafter everything made with the plugin WPBakery Page Builder doesn’t work anymore.
We don’t recommend this plugin so where have you found its recommendation?

It seems you are using old demo content install method which deletes existing data so please make sure you are using our new demo content import method as described in this topic https://support.shufflehound.com/forums/topic/demo-install-problem/#post-15581
Please make sure you are using latest version of Unyson plugin and set your site permalink settings as Post name.
This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins except Unyson plugin and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
