We haven’t seen this kind of issue yet.
It seems that this kind of issue should be coming from some kind plugin instead of the theme.
Can you share login data to your website in the private field? Then we could try to debug it.

Image can be changed when editing home page in WPBakery page builder and there you can change sections background image.

Interesting I couldn’t replicate it in the Windows and Android devices, but I could see this issue on iPad. Not sure what could cause it.

The easiest way to fix your issue would be to just to create blog page with WPBakery page builder content instead of theme option based. If you need help we can do it for you.
